PALMYRA, Mo. (WGEM) – A Palmyra highschool scholar is making a distinction by giving again to an area police division.
Ryan Nick is a senior who spent the final month making a 35-pound battering ram in his welding class.
He stated the Palmyra Police Division was in want of 1 and he wished to place his welding abilities to the take a look at.
Nick stated he feels nice realizing he created a challenge that can assist out regulation enforcement.
“We determined to initially make it as a result of the police drive wanted a battering ram and so they got here to us, and we had the supplies for it,” Nick stated. “I didn’t have a challenge but so I made it.”
Nick welded the letters “PPD” onto the entrance of the battering ram to go away a mark for the Police Division.
He stated the challenge took him a month to finish.
