Games related to, among other things, Stranger Things can be played as part of the subscription and without in-app purchases – though only on Android for now.
It has been promised for months, and Netflix’s own video game service was launched in November, writes the Independent.
For Android users, the “Games” tab within the app became available on Tuesday, where subscribers can meet five titles for now. Hungarians can try the novelty from November 3.
Games are part of the average monthly fee and do not include in-app purchases. Two of the titles are related to Netflix’s self-produced mega-series, Stranger Things. The five games are:
- Stranger Things: 1984
- Stranger Things 3: The Game
- Shooting Hoops
- Card Blast
- Teeter Up
The company said more games and features are coming, and these will be available on all profiles (except those set for children). According to Netflix, games can provide a similar experience for any group, from beginner to pro.
