Gov. Youngkin donates first-quarter wage to Virginia Regulation Enforcement Help Program

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin donated his first-quarter wage to the Virginia Regulation Enforcement Help Program.

The group is “devoted to serving to regulation enforcement officers and first responders who’ve undergone traumatic essential incidents within the line of responsibility or of their private lives.”

Throughout Youngkin’s marketing campaign, he pledged to donate his wage.

He donated $43,750 of his wage to the group.

“I pledged to serve our Commonwealth with out accepting a wage as a result of I wish to proceed giving again to the Commonwealth and serving to Virginians in each method I can,” mentioned Youngkin. “I’ve chosen to donate my wage to the Virginia Regulation Enforcement Help Program (VALEAP) due to their vital mission to help regulation enforcement personnel and first responders who’ve undergone traumatic essential incidents.
