8,000 golf balls stolen from golf course in Somerset County

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — An investigation is underway after 8,000 golf balls have been stolen from a golf course in Somerset County.

State police stated troopers responded June 4 to the Oakbrook Golf Course in Jenner Township for a report of stolen golf balls. The proprietor of the course instructed police that during the last month, the golf course has had 8,000 golf balls stolen from the driving vary. 

Police stated the stolen balls have been from varied manufacturers, however a “massive portion” of them have been yellow Mizuno balls labeled “PRACTICE.”
